Samsung Electronics will introduce 1,612 units of Korean equipment into its semiconductor back-end plant in Vietnam’s Thai Nguyen province. In an environmental permit filing with Vietnamese authorities, Samsung Vietnam Semiconductor (SVS) confirmed the equipment import plan and registered a total investment of $4.08 billion.
