Shanghai will boost its first-launch economy by upgrading support policies and rolling out more high-level debut, first-store and first-exhibition events, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce said. The city currently stages over 3,000 launch events a year and has attracted more than 1,100 first-in-market stores.
