Two sources in quarterly pricing talks said on Wednesday a global aluminium producer offered Japanese buyers a $325/tonne premium for primary aluminium for Oct-Dec, an 18% decline from the current quarter. The premium is paid over LME spot. Another global producer last week submitted a preliminary $310/tonne offer, down 22% QoQ.
