Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said hours ago a supertanker attempting an unauthorized transit via the Strait of Hormuz southern route struck two sea mines, sparking a major fire and leaving the vessel dead in the water. The IRGC Navy warned any vessel violating Strait of Hormuz security regulations will face the same fate.
