Fujian flood control headquarters said coastal and southern Fujian will receive heavy rain on 24th under the joint influence of a monsoon trough and typhoon "Jianlawei". Forecast 24‑hour totals 60–130 mm, locally up to 250 mm; maximum hourly rate 90 mm. At 10:30 on the 24th the headquarters upgraded flood emergency response to Level‑3 and kept typhoon emergency at Level‑4.
