Germany's Federal Statistical Office said July 2026 energy prices rose 3.8% YoY and 3.4% MoM. Oil product prices increased 31.4% YoY and 6.6% MoM, the agency said, affected by tensions involving Iran and conflict in the Middle East. Naphatha prices were up 34.6% YoY, light heating oil up 52.0% YoY and fuel oil up 29.4% YoY. Electricity prices fell 1.6% YoY and district heating declined 0.7% YoY.
