Goldman Sachs is negotiating with potential investors to participate in NVIDIA’s roughly $500 billion third‑party capital raise for AI infrastructure, people familiar with the matter said. Sources said U.S. insurers, asset managers and banks are expected to form the core investor group, and asset managers plan to take a large share. NVIDIA on Aug. 10 said it had partnered with six major financial firms, including Goldman, to launch a computing platform aimed at raising over $500 billion for AI infrastructure. One source said Goldman Asset Management could supply subordinated capital and private credit, while Goldman’s investment banking arm could help allocate debt to private credit funds and ultimately into the public bond market.
