Omdia reports Q2 2026 smartphone shipments in the Middle East (ex-Turkey) fell 19% YoY to 10.6 mln units, the largest single-quarter drop since Q4 2025. Price increases, supply constraints and geopolitical uncertainty are driving vendors to prioritise product value and profitability over volume growth, while weaker consumer confidence has led retailers to tighten inventory management.
