Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (YOFC) said it won 100% of the 2026 China Telecom Guangdong hollow-core optical cable and G.654.E cable framework procurement with a bid of 159 mln yuan (incl. tax). The purchase is the largest single domestic hollow‑core cable procurement to date and signals hollow‑core fiber moving from pilot validation to commercial‑scale deployment.
