South Korean stocks rose on Wednesday for a third straight session, led by a surge in chip shares on AI optimism; the KOSPI climbed more than 4% to 6,635 points, its highest level since Aug. 5. Kiwoom Securities analyst Han Ji-young said validation of strong AI infrastructure demand from CoreWeave and Supermicro should boost flows into the semiconductor sector and domestic AI-related names. Heavyweights Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix jumped over 7%; LG Energy Solution rose about 3%; Hyundai Motor and Kia gained roughly 2% and 1.5%, respectively.
