Twin Falls, Idaho — Police said Aug. 1 an afternoon shooting at a local burger fast-food restaurant left multiple people dead or injured; the shooter is dead. Authorities have not released a confirmed casualty count or explained how the shooter died, and have not disclosed a motive. City official Joshua Palmer told local media at least three people were killed and two injured. Multiple nearby roads were closed and large numbers of police, fire and emergency medical personnel responded; authorities are notifying next of kin and urged the public to avoid the area.
