Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose 59 points (2.21%) to 2,732, its highest since July 27; July cumulative gain 9.2%. Capesize index jumped 129 points (3.1%) to 4,296, highest since July 17; July cumulative +21%. Capesize average daily earnings rose $1,165 to $35,457. Panamax index gained 47 points (2.3%) to 2,087, highest since July 23; July cumulative -3.1%. Panamax average daily earnings rose $417 to $18,780. Supramax slipped 1 point (0.06%) to 1,609, lowest since June 8; July cumulative -3.5%.
