China's 12th national centralized drug procurement will open bids in Shanghai on July 31; bidders begin submitting price materials from 07:30. The tender includes 65 drugs spanning anti-infectives, oncology, antithrombotics, antidiabetics, antihypertensives, lipid-lowering, rheumatology/autoimmune and analgesic/anti-inflammatory categories. At the bid opening, banks and insurers including Bank of China, Sinosure, China Merchants Bank, SPD Bank, Shanghai Bank and the China Drug Price Registration System introduced financing and support products for bidders, such as "procurement loans", "traceability-code loans" and drug price registration services.
