Bank of Korea data on Thursday showed South Korea’s economy grew 0.6% QoQ in Q2, with strong exports offsetting downward pressure from ongoing Middle East tensions. The pace slowed from Q1’s 1.8% QoQ but exceeded the Bank of Korea’s May forecast of 0.2%.
