Jordan's foreign ministry said it summoned Iran's chargé d'affaires in Amman and delivered a formal protest note over Iran's continued attacks on Jordanian territory and provocative statements by Iranian official bodies. A ministry spokesman said Jordan asked the chargé to convey a clear message to Tehran to immediately halt the attacks and cease the unacceptable incendiary rhetoric.
