China CDC said nationwide COVID-19 activity has remained at inter-epidemic/low levels since October 2025, roughly eight and a half months, with overall low viral activity. A modest uptick began in late May and by mid-June moved into a low-prevalence phase; sentinel-hospital PCR positivity has risen recently, signaling an upward trend but overall low transmission.
