The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose to 2,980 on Tuesday, up 20 points (0.68%), its highest level since early June. The Capesize index (BCI) gained 49 points (+1%) to 4,751, a one-month high; Capesize average daily earnings rose $445 to $39,583. The Panamax index (BPI) edged up 1 point to 2,251; Panamax daily earnings rose $6 to $20,260. The Supramax index (BSI) increased 3 points (0.2%) to 1,710, its highest since June 22. The Handysize index (BHSI) fell 5 points to 909.
