China’s 2026 box office has surpassed CNY17.5 billion, led by Feichi Rensheng 3, A Letter to Grandma and Biaoren. A Letter to Grandma has continued to gain both audience approval and ticket sales and has extended its run to July 31; it is also screening in multiple overseas markets. The summer slate, which began June 1, has grossed over CNY1.7 billion including presales.
