Mainland stocks opened mixed. ChiNext initially dipped more than 1% before stabilizing; Shanghai Composite climbed steadily and was up 1.08% at the mid-session close. Shenzhen Composite rose 0.41%, ChiNext fell 0.39%. Turnover on the two exchanges exceeded 2.4 tln yuan and over 4,200 stocks advanced. Sector movers: fluorochemicals and livestock led gains; internet finance and insurance within large financials and robotics were active. Innovative drug names recovered after early weakness. Memory chips and CPO briefly spiked then retreated. Energy storage fell, led by inverter suppliers.
