On Monday, June 29, Japan's Nikkei 225 closed up 107.23 points (+0.15%) at 69,468.11 after sliding more than 1% intraday. South Korea's KOSPI closed up 5.62 points (+0.07%) at 8,416.83. KOSDAQ rallied more than 8%. After Samsung and SK announced investment plans, the KOSPI wiped out as much as a 3.4% intraday decline and turned positive, while small-cap KOSDAQ staged a sharp rebound.
