Canada on Monday unveiled a strategy to accelerate construction of large nuclear reactors nationwide to boost generation and leverage its abundant high-grade uranium deposits. The plan targets 10 new large reactors, with at least two to begin construction before 2035. Officials said they will speed regulatory approvals and introduce a financing framework by early next year aimed at attracting pension fund and sovereign wealth capital to finance the expansion.
