The Baltic Dry Index fell 38 points (1.4%) to 2,684. The Capesize index slipped 75 points (1.8%) to 4,074; it had hit its highest level since June 10 in the prior session. Capesize average daily earnings fell $684 to $33,444. The Panamax index dropped 37 points (1.8%) to 2,059, with Panamax average daily earnings down $328 to $18,532. The Supramax index declined 3 points (0.2%) to 1,715. The Handysize index rose 2 points to 936.
