U.S. Southern Command said on the 21st it struck a 'drug-smuggling' vessel in the Caribbean, killing two people aboard. The command said the 'Southern Spear' joint task force, acting at the direction of U.S. Southern Command commander Francis Donovan, struck a vessel operated by a 'designated terrorist organization'; two males aboard were killed and no U.S. personnel were injured.
