China Energy said on the 20th the final generating unit at the Jinchuan hydropower plant on the Dadu River in Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan, was synchronized to the grid, marking full-capacity commissioning. The plant has four turbine-generators of 215 MW each for a total installed capacity of 860 MW and is listed as a key national energy construction project.
