Hezbollah said on June 19 it will continue resisting Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon’s Taibnit–Ali Tahir area, reporting an exchange of fire with an Israeli unit attempting to infiltrate north of Ali Tahir and a subsequent strike on an Israeli reinforcement. The Israel Defense Forces on June 18 released a map of a so-called southern Lebanon "security zone" that places Taibnit and Ali Tahir on the zone’s edge.
