On June 17 at a press briefing on a global governance white paper, CHINA STATE PLANNER deputy director Zhou Haibing said China will balance AI development and security, pursue multilateral cooperation, and follow a people‑centered, "intelligence‑for‑good" principle to keep AI development beneficial, safe and fair.
