China’s major futures contracts were mixed by midday, with methanol, synthetic rubber and asphalt rising more than 4% and polypropylene up over 2%. Palladium fell more than 4%, platinum dropped over 3%, while glass, low-sulfur fuel oil and PVC declined around 2%.
