The Kyrgyzstan section of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway reported the breakthrough of Koshtobe North Tunnel No.2; Naryn No.1 tunnel and other control projects have reached phased milestones. Civil works on the Kyrgyzstan section began in June 2025; temporary roads and temporary power support projects are completed and operational. Construction has started on 27 tunnels, 43 bridges and 88 roadbed sections, and foundations for 20 stations are under way.
